Metrosails operates the 93′ custom-built gaff-rigged passenger schooner, Halie & Matthew, from Eastport, Maine.
The solid laid fiberglass boat is Coast Guard inspected and certified for 100 passengers on deck and 36 passengers overnight.
Captain George Harris and John Bishop built the ship in Eastport between 2003 and 2006.

The main saloon is beautifully finished in mahogany joiner work. There is a large skylight that brings in ample natural light. Access from the main deck is by a long easy walk down stair case. The saloon seats 26 persons for meals. The galley is fitted with modern stainless appliances. The head for public use is located adjacent to the saloon.
